3 grandparents from Poland (originally from Germany, France......), 1 from Saloniki, Greece (originally from France, then from Spain) - (so 3 Yiddish speakers & 1 Judeo Spanish speaker).
Dh is even more complicated. 2 grandparents from Italy (one Ashkenazic originally from France & Germany, one Sephardic originally from Spain), 2 grandparents whose families settled a few generations ago in Switzerland: 1 from France, 1 from Ireland (family so awfully assimilated that we don't know where they were originally).
So we are both the same proportions, 3/4 Ashk 1/4 Seph.
