I know someone who also had twins & a little one. She used her single bassinet stroller for her twins for the first while whenever she went out with just the two of them. Then her double when she went out with all of them. They where small, so she just put them near eachother in one seat & she says they where so much happier being close. It's only for the first bit, until they get bigger, but it's something to keep in mind so you can keep your hads free.

Eventually she got a seat for the double & put the toddler there, but she hated pushing it because it was so big & heavy.

I have the double maclaren and its very heavy when taking in and out of the car!! Its not the easiest stroller to push since they're not air tires but it works for errands in and out of the car.

just as an aside- my baby (18 months) LOVES going on her buggy board. I would actually prefer if she sat inside and let he rbig sis ride it, but she insists! bshaah tovah

I have two pairs of twins and I higly recomend you the valco for later and a double snap and go in the beginning if u are in the car alot I had 3 under 16 month at one point you much rathe have something heavy to put in the car which last a minute to take out or put in and have a great really easy stroller to push

I have a triple advenure buggy and highly recommend it but definitely on the bulky side. There are pics of ours on another thread somewhere. I love it because all 3 seats recline for seats which is why we got it and it pushes well even with a LOT of weight in it.

If I was going for an umbrella stroller with capability for a third I would be looking at one of these:

They are supposed to be usable by that age (15month minimum). I think they look really cool and have heard great things about them.

I didn't find it heavy at all!

As another option, why not get a mei tai or Ergo-type carrier that would allow you to back-carry your toddler and use a regular double?

OP here thanks for the responses everyone.
Momy, its so funny you wrote that bc I saw a valco the other day and I was so happy to see it in action in real life bc it is HUGE and I just can't picture it being compatible with taking in and out of the car frequently.
Rodent, thanks for the suggestion, but I really can't see myself living happily with a triple. I don't want to make a big investment and end up hating it.

Right now I'm crushing on the new MB duet but BH I have time to wait for some more reviews to come out. The other one im thinking abt is the combi.
