DD wore a new pair of pants (she is only 2 years old) yesterday and got some oil on it. I washed it right away but the stains did not come out - it is part of a very nice outfit and I am upset - any suggestions on how to get them clean again? :?:

I sprayed it with oxy clean before washing it originally - will it make a diff. to use the powder?

Next time when you see an oil stain, before you wash it lay it out somewhere flat and put a nice mound of baby powder on the stain and leave it for 24 hours. Then wash it. Works like a charm!

dishwashing soap (like palmolive) works really well to get out grease (that's the purpose of those soaps!) - even from clothes!

Sorry, no suggfestions except I hope you didn't put it in the dryer after washing, because the heat would've set the stain .

Dawn dishwashing detergent ("Dawn takes grease - out of your way"!) works really well, even if you have put it in the dryer. I've had the same situation many times and it works everytime.

Did not put it in the dryer although I tried washing it twice already with no luck. I will give the dishwashing soap a try - thanks!
