When I came home from dropping off ds at school I found a magazine from "J Witnesses" in my door Puke

I'm so glad I wasn't home, but now they know where to find me, I'm sure they noticed our mezuzah Confused

if they come back and pull out thrie scripture, just take out a chumash and say "If we're gonna discuss this, I prefer to use the origional" (my husband has done this.......funny, they never come back LOL

A friend of mine once had missionaries come to her house. She told them to wait there at the door and left the front door open as she yelled up the stairs- 'Dad! There's people here forr you to get rid of!!!' I know someone else who had missionaries knock on the door who said, 'We'd like to introduce you to J---s.' He stepped outside, looked around and said 'erally? Where?'

I would just say thank you very much but I am not interested howvever, telling them sheva mitzvos bnei noach is definetly a plus.

DH loves them, when they ask if he beleives in J---s he answers that he beleives in and is a worshiper of his dark lord Satan. The last time he added a twist, after he said that he said with an evil glint in his eye that he is glad they came as he was looking for a new sacrafice to offer his lord. He said he has never seen people run that fast before in his life.

I recall hearing some place that they believe that they get "merit" when people embarress them. The best thing to do to them is to be polite and firm so no thank you and close the door.

teaching them 7 laws of noach is a nice thought.

They are still knocking on doors? I thought they gave that up. when I was a kid they used to come around very often, but for years I have only seen them standing around in train stations and the like, displaying their literature but not approaching people. Must be a new campaign.

When I was a teenager they stoped me in NY

I said to them can I have some of your flyers ?(I looked interested )

I then ripped them up in tiny pieces and threw them in the air !

the jews 4 ------s man looked at me an said "now do you feel better?"

They are standing by the Bank of America now on Eastern Parkway now. When I walking by they tried to give me some of their papers. I replied, "I have enough books of my own Religion to read thank you!!" The lady gave me a weird loook!!!

When I was younger they came knocked on our (I wasn't religious then, my parents fried out and then I came back when I was older). They said they were JW's and I said, I am Jewish. They gave me a weird look cause I wasn't dressed tzniusly. They started questioning me and I kept firing back my answers. They were in shock cause I was only 13 and outsmarted them, by quoting. My mum came over and was so proud of me. We didn't see them again for quite awhile. Guess their route stopped in that area. Cause a few months later new people came, we just started slamming the door closed after that.

My dh had a secretary once who was JW.She said that have have a certain amount of hours that they have to go around to try to tell people. But they aren't rude or pushy like J for J. If you say no thanks they will just walk away, (or they are supposed to.)
