my sil is a teacher and she said her attitude towards her students changed completely after her baby was born. she couldn't help thinking that even those annoying or difficult kids had mothers at home hoping their children were doing well and waiting to hear good regards, and this made her see them differently.
one can't help having more compassion for ALL children when you have your own.
