Stay At Home Mothers
Anyone interested?

Depends...how much is she charging? Will she be there to greet me when I get home from work?
Does she make from-scratch dinners? Will she tuck me in at night, with a story?

Is she generous with Mitzvah Notes (to give to my boss) and quick to write me an excuse note to get out of work?

I will have to discuss with DH, but this could work out pretty well!

Don't ruin my innocence. I still want to believe that they all lived happily ever after.

What are the traveling chasidim

The only known surviving members of this once great nomadic tribe of wandering musicians - whose ancestry goes back so far that their exact origins have become extremely difficult to retrace or separate from the legends and myths that have grown around them throughout the centuries. It is understood, however, that they have their roots deep in the obscure civilization of Asiatic Pygmies (called Travelians), whose musical intrigue was well renowned at that time.

In the more recent past, The Traveling Chasidim as we now know them, with their songs of colour and free expression, come to us marked with 221 years of pain, suffering and nightmarish domination by nightclub owners, tour operators, record company executives, wicked agents and managers - not to mention wives, road crews and drummers.

Traveling Wilbury, Traveling Chasidim, same thing, aren't they?

Wool CD cover question.

Really not necessary. CDs do fine in their plastic jewel boxes. You can pick up extras at Staples, or just use a paper envelope in case of emergency. Wool would be way too bulky for most CD racks. Hope this helps.

LOL

This whole time I just thought they were like the typical Wandering Jew- only with more chumrahs and better organised itineraries.

Wondering what a wool CD is anyhow... Natural Parenting....oh, I get it...

Maybe we could start providing links to the actual thread here for those of us who get madly curious as to what the thread is really about?

Household help: I don't get it!

It's when you hire someone to do your routine housework like cooking, cleaning, or childcare. Things like plumbing, construction, electrical work are usually considered "calling in a professional" and not "household help". Catering for a special occasion, even if done in your home, is also in the "calling in a professional" category and not considered "household help". Yard work I'm not sure about, could go either way. I guess if it's a regular lawn mowing it would be household help, but the special call to prune a tree or pesticide the lawn would be "calling in a pro" --even if it's the same outfit that mows the lawn.

Under "pregnancy"
Help me find the right person (NY)

This should be under "shidduchim" --and you're either a little bit late (if the shidduch is for you) or a whole lot early (if the shidduch is for the baby).
