I have a wedding in September IYH that I need to get a gown for. I will be about 18 weeks pregnant with twins, #2 and #3. I was very small with my first pregnancy, didn't really show until well into my 6th month, but obviously, things are going to be different this time around. Can anyone guesstimate if I will be showing? Do you think I might still be small enough to get away with an empire non-maternity gown? I don't live in NY and if I need to find a maternity gown, it's easier if I know ASAP so I can plan to look the next time I'm in NY, instead of right before the wedding. Thanks.

Obviously, this varies, but from what I've experienced and read, at 18 weeks, most are showing at least a small bump, if not more than that. I had to put on maternity at 12 weeks (and that was pushing it already). I think 14-16 is average though.

Another vote, that you'll prob. be better off with maternity.

Especially now a days, where you can find a nice maxi dress and stick a shell under, you shouldnt have to rely on going to NY
