How can I get candle wax off my furniture? My husband blew out tea lights that were on my dresser to make the room smell nice and wax got all over the dresser? Any ideas how to get it off without scraping the furniture???

What material is the dresser (wood etc.)? Hot water helps. Also try putting a paper towel over it and then hovering a hot iron on top. The wax will lift off and stick to the paper towel...I know this works on fabric not sure about other material...

I use the iron on the lowest setting. You can use either paper towels or newspaper. Just make sure to keep the iron moving. You want enough of the heat to transfer to melt the wax, but not so much that you burn the wood. Make sure to polish the wood afterwards to protect it.

credit card ? that sounds intresting what do you do?
Boiling HOt water helps get wax off my leichter never tried it on furniture

I wouldn't use boiling water on wood- I'd think it would warp it.
just scrape it off with the credit card- it wont scratch the wood
