I went on a Birthright trip to Israel 3 or 4 years ago. I had such a great time. . . it was such a great way of seeing Israel.

Isn't the only way you can go if you have never been on an organized tour/trip before? Like if you've been to seminary, you can't go with them.

When I went, the rules were kind of lax. I'd been to seminary and several people from my trip had been to Israel before.

They do make exceptions, especially if your seminary/yeshiva did not take you on tours, you could tell them that.

Here in Toronto, they are turning people away for these trips, and not everyone is being accepted because there are so many people wanting to go, and not enough room!

Yes, married couples can go. As long as they are between the ages of 18 and 26. And if they have never gone to Israel on an organized trip.
