I've wanted to write a book for many years. I'm not an amazing writing but my life story has been pretty amazing. even up until today I always have the most interesting twists and turns in my life.
I feel sometimes like I live in a soap opera and it's all just what Hashem has sent my way and I deal with it as it comes. I dont know if I should try writing. so anyway... I was just thinking I can try to write a sentence or two. I wrote this in one thought without any corrections. I think it's ok and if I read it in a book I would want to keep reading.
what do you think? Obviously to write a book I'd have to edit and move things and give more or less details in any situation....
"I ran up the stairs thrilled to be home after a long day of school. Things were normal...
my brother angry at the world. My olders sisters busy in their own world and my mother sick in bed alone and abandoned. I went to tell my mother about my day and see if she needed any help before scavenging for something edible to eat for dinner.

This is the OP, I was waiting at an appointment today so I started to write.
Dearest diary today I turned 10. I was so excited I just knew my big sisters
were going to surprise me and buy me something really special for my birthday.
Maybe they would even make me a party. Before the 4:00 bell rang my knapsack was
packed and I was ready to race out the door. I just had to be first on line.
Whoever was first online got the best seat on the bus. I wanted to sit right
near the driver so that when we got to my stop I could get off the bus first.
After all my birthday surprise couldn't wait.
My teacher went on and on droning about how important penmanship was and I tuned
her out as I willed the bell to ring. Shrillllll, finally free at last I raced
from my seat to the assembly room to get online for the red bus as the teacher
yelled no running in the halls. I ignored the warning and quickened my pace,
Baruch has hem I was first. Now all I had to do was wait for my stop. Usually on
the way home I was hungry but today my hearted beated and I ignored the chatter
as my imagination ran wild I imagined a hello kitty cake, a huge pile of
presents and of course my favorite supper sloppy Joe.
I ran down my street as though I had wings and took the front stairs two at a time.
As I reached the front door I slowed my pace and quietly opened the front door.
Silence.. There wasn't a sound. I went to my room and It looked like the same
tornado it was when I left for school. I checked the kitchen and my sisters
rooms but no one was ho me. I felt dejected but knew mommy would be in bed.
Trying not to look dejected I made my way to her room. Mommy welcomed me warmly"
welcome home ahuvah how was your day?" Quietly I told my mother about my day at
school. All hopes dashed I returned to the kitchen for supper I was starting to
get hungry. Dinner was a combination of burned soup and dried out baked beans. I
wanted to cry suddenly I was famished! I begrudgingly took out the cheerios and
milk and sat down to my typical dinner.
I tried not to blame mommy after all it wasn't her fault her feet didn't work
she was slowly getting worse and it was only a matter of time before she would be a vegetable. I
loved my mommy more than anything and I davened passionately for a cure I knew I
should just be grateful I am well oh how I wish I could be sick so that my mommy
could be well. I want so badly for her to take care of me. When my class put on
a play all the other mothers came, I stayed home. At least then noone would know my secret.
