In my family, dh and children, we don't have any because we're not usually in the same place, but my parents have for as long as I can remember. For at least one day on chol hamoed sukkos, we walked across the brooklyn bridge. My father walked back and picked us up with the car  . And for at least one day on chol hamoed pesach, our whole family, over the years it got bigger and bigger b'h  , we went to prospect park.
Do you have any traditional chol hamoed trips?
