To the land that I love
it's been so long
5 years to be exact
and yes you have changed
quite a bit
but you never fail me
you welcome me with open arms
with words that are so familiar
and palm trees
taxi drivers who know tehillim by heart
chillonim who know gemara
old ladies dressed like hookers
roundabouts
krembo
shwarma
trissim
stone
the smell of the ocean
sun!!
buses
mirpeset
makolet
I could go on all day!
I just want to say thank you for being my home
and waiting for me
I'm finally HOME

I can't read stuff like this. . . it makes me cry. But I am so, so happy for you and every other lucky Jew who is home. I hope your trip brings you peace.

Can't wait for the day when all Jews will be back together in our beautiful home, with a rebuilt Bais HaMikdash.
