Are any of you familiar with the Master-Mind program in which children with weak reading skills manage, in six weeks, to jump grade levels? I just read a letter from a grateful mother who described how her child was going to be left back, how a tutor did not help, how he hated school, and then this program got him back on track. Now he gets 95's on tests instead of 55's and his teacher says he not only knows the information but understands it.
I wonder how it works.

got the website:
http://master-mind.org/
The idea behind this program is:
Quote: | Painkillers will help avoid the symptoms of an illness, but will not cure it. In order to solve a problem, you must determine and repair its source. |
wish there was more info on the site
