They do make a lot of mess, BH for the cleaning lady. We greet her like Mashiach
It's the living room/dining room (I don't remember which one is which but the salon is divided into two). We have some animals in the kitchen too, there is no other place for them
We planned to move in a much bigger place, with loggias for the animals, but another real estate agency "stole" the apartment from ours!
I'm not sure she's slimmer, she has reached 18 kilos (of love!).
Paci is (sometimes) unused during the day, but she looooves it so much. New pacis are less problematic for the teeth, and it's good against reflux, so we're weaning sloooowly...
I can't live with the mess on the floor. Kid has to vacuum daily. And the smell - how do you live with that? Once we had a whole family of hamsters, we started to smell them. Uch - very bad for hyper sensitive noses. Now that we are down to 2 it's much better And there is a BIG window in the washroom we can leave open.
Now, a bird is a nice thing. It sings prettily and doesn't smell. It greets us when we come home. It makes a bit of a mess on the floor with the discards from his grains but nothing like hamsters. We like our bird.
Mess doesn't bother me, and as these are my pets as much as DH's or DD's, I would feel bad asking one of them to vacuum (not that I "see it", you know what I mean? I notice it on pictures or if the lady hasn't been there for a week). If the smell is bad, time to clean the cages. If not, then not. We only open the window a bit as it's cold outside and they don't like cold.
A bird can be quite messy if it's allowed to go around, and some don't sing or even shriek! lol
My dad's mom also had this minhag that birds brought water to the Jews after a pogrom to put out the fire so we can't have them in cage, it pleases my dad that we respect it
My room was a mess as a teen, a bit better when I got married since DH was full of good intentions and cleaned up a bit, after DD came and started to make mess too, we just gave up until BH BH we found the cleaning lady!
it's been forever since I posted a pic of yitzy- every time I tried, imageshack had issues.
here he is! 16 months old, talking a TON (68 words as of yesterday), and a big time troublemaker!
(taking the saying 'living out of a suitcase' a bit too literally)
(using the remote control on the plane as a phone- notice the hands 'talking' too!)
Pobody's nerfect, I don't know what it is but I can see everyone's pictures besides yours. I just see a red x. It's the same on the other thread also where you posted a pic.
GAMZu - Thanks I think I posted one picture of our youngest before but I bet it was worth the wait to see him huh? :p I'm cheeky, confident and oh so biased with my kids eh?

Ronit - Is that a smile or a laugh?
I think I can probably answer for myself and perhaps for her that it is a very happy smile. It's so cute!! They look darling and happy k'ah!!
Well, I don't think I've posted in about a year with my youngest so here he is at 2 1/2 years old in our backyard with his usual mischievous grin.
