Betty Crocker Sugar Cookies

3/4C shortening, 1C Sugar, 2Eggs, 1tsp Vanilla, 2 1/2C Flour, 1tsp Baking powder, 1tsp Salt.
Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Blend in the rest. Chill for 1 hour (! Forgot that bit last time I made it). Preheat oven to 400F. Roll to 1/8th inch thickness, cut, bake 6-8mins or until very light brown.
