I love flowers and plants but I manage to kill them. My tomatoes are not growing Crying My marigolds look sad. my mini roses have some disease on them. My impatients are beautiful. My petunias are moody. My zucchini is also giving me trouble. I think it has alot to do that our area is infested with ants. They are in everything. you cant lean on any tree because it is crawling with ants.

Today I want to go pick wildflowers for shabbos. I hope the rain lets up.

I personally think that bulbs and rose bushes are a better idea than planting new flowers every year. This is my yellow rose bushes first year and it only blooms a little at a time. I want an off white one next.

What are some cheap plants/ bushes that grow nicely and abundently? I love to garden and have a relatively big patch of dirt. however funds are tight so I would like to fill it up with things that grow fast and take up space.
