Count me in! I've always got a story in my head, and I write poetry as well-for myself-on occasion.

I write poetry for the school girls in my family. Ya know all those crazy homework/parentwork kids these days come with. Does this count?

I enjoy writing, though I usually dont these days as its usually dark & deep.
I'm much happier these days so the words wont flow. I think I'm just not used to the change lol
I try to write in my happy states too, and I'm in if I dont need to write daily :p

thanks manyhats.

ok fellow writers, here goes.

so let me tell you why I have decided to do this. as you can tell im blunt. I like to express myself. and what better way to do so than by writing? and whats even more fun is having people read what I write. that pat on the back or even that critique makes me feel validated. so I figure, I f I like it maybe you do too?

so lets place some guidelines (not rules because I like to break rules)

respect others
feel free to comment and question
dont critisize (we do that to ourselves, we dont need others to do that)
if you are going to comment than you need to write your own stuff too
any topic is game
sometimes ill throw out a topic or maybe someone else will

and for those of you that are reading and not writing: SHAME ON YOU!

and ill see if I can get us a private forum. feel free to PM me whenever

so lets begin:
for our first topic - spacing out

do whatever you want with it, be creative. cant wait!

I'd love to join!! Love writing, don't know if I'm very good but I'd really like to improve. And a writing club will give me the discipline to practice, and critique will help me get better. Thanks for this fantastic idea!

Spacing out.....hmmmm.

Yes, yes, yes! It'd be so much more productive than hulu. embarrassed I'd love to join. I problem-solve when I write. And...I've got a lot of challenges that are crowding my life. I like to journal/write personal essays about whatever topic I'm wrestling with. Ooo, ooo. Why don't I imitate the style of The Screwtape Letters about my weight management incompetence, incorporating a food log and ? recipies? I'm re-reading a weight loss book by a lawyer, the premise is to teach women to 'make a case for yourself', where you prepare a brief/argument in advance, and argue the temptation away when it arises, in the 'courtroom' of real life. Also, if I get real intense about something, I have/can make up songs and sing the feelings/ideas away. Gosh, yes, a closed forum. And maybe we could apply for pen names, since writing is so revealing. We don't need Yael's permission for nom de plume, do we?

Yay! That's for that welcome Smile now for the topic, spacing out isn't something I do often so it may not come to me so easily. I'm more of an emotional writer then anything so I'll think about it & see if I come up with anything Smile can't wait to read some of your writings! (And write some too, don't worry lol)
