DH got his Teudat Smicha!

Please, ladies, give me some gift ideas for my DH.

After almost two years of studying different Halachos and periodicly having tests he finaly recieved the Smicha we've been waiting for a long time! B"H!

I'm very proud of DH (happy he finaly has it!) and want him to know that.

Any gift ideas for this occasion?

laminate his Smicha certificate on wood, and hang over his desk(if he has one.) It's not a real gift, but it's a nice touch, and he'll see how proud you are. Smile

DH got his smicha before we got married but for one occasion (can't remember what) I had it framed for him

Mazel tov Match!

I remember one of our friends husbands received smicha and his wife had a surprise kidduch in his honor, at their shul.

I would go with something like having the certificate matted or laminated professionally.

laminating on wood is baicly taking the picture in your case the smicha letter and giving it in to a store they place it on a wood you get to choose your edging and it is waterproof and keeps forever...
