Off topic -
Can someone that has that cookbook tell me if there really is a recipe that's similar to the pastrami/chicken/mashed potato dish that I make? I don't need the recipe but would like to know how similar it is.
Thanks!

I really like it.

I've made:

-Colorful Fish Pate
-Roasted Cauliflower and Dill Soup
-Rolled Chicken filled with Pastrami
-Three-Cheese Baked Penne with Broccoli
-Classic Spinach Casserole
-Orzo with Caramelized Onion and Mushroom Saute
-Whoopie Pies

Everything was good, though I wouldn't necessarily make everything a second time.

I find the recipes to be pretty easy. Making something like a fancier gefilte fish dish for Shabbos isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I find that once in a while it's fun to try something that might take a little more work than the usual dish...but nothing was overly time consuming.

Some of the dishes were definite winners!

It's about 300 pages, I got it as a gift, and find it to be a great addition to my cookbook library.

I am a cookbook fiend, though, so I might not be the best judge.
