Not wasting food.

Not to hang bread/cakes up , especially in the house.

Buy a new challa knife.

Not to throw bread away, unless it's actually inedible e.g. mouldy or hard as a rock.

I have no sources (or proof) but I recently heard that a woman should give her husband money after Havdalah. he should then use this money to buy her something during the week (he can add more money for the purchase). this is supposedly a segulah for parnash. has anyone ever heard of this?

I've heard that bentching in a siddur is a segula for parnassa
I have a plaque in my house with a segula from the Baal shem tov. You can buy it in judaica stores.
Being careful about baal tashchis is also known as a segula
Saying Paarshas haamon, (I don't know what it is or when it is said,)

I don't know if this is a segulah, but it says in Kitzur Shulchan Aruch that one must have kavana when saying the pasuk "poseiach es Yodecha"( in Ashrei)to daven for sustenance for himself and Klall Yisrael., and if he didn't, he must say it over again..

These days of exorbitant camp and tuition fees, I say this pasuk with more kavana, you'd better believe it! Smile

Each one of the three woman's mitzvos is connected to something else. Challah is known for it's abilities to increase livelihood. niddah brings about health, and candlelighting is for shalom bayis and nachas. When you do make challah. it is important to know the proper amounts of flour/ water ratio in order to make a bracha. In chabad our custom is to say the bracha l'hafrish challah and then remove a portion of the dough to be burned. However before we burn it we raise it and say harei zo challah. There are many groups of women who bake at the auspicious time for requesting brachos which is thursday night and friday. It's a beautiful minhag by some to say the names of a childless couple that they should have children. Whatever you do should be successful and just know that any effort you put in hashem pays back. Yes, I've heard bentching in a siddur with kavanah is a segulah.

I've also heard that collecting the challah crumbs and eating it is a segulah.

I have heard that leaving the shabbos tablecloth till Sunday, is a sugula for parnassah.
