It's certainly better with fresh cauliflower. I just leave it at room temperature on the counter and it's usually gone before shabbos. oh well...

omg I made this once, and now they want me to make it for every shabbos meal!!
Even the kids that typically donot eat veggies eat it!

Anyone ever try less oil with 2 heads? How about 4Tbsp do you think that is enough?

The least caloric way I ever made this was to substitute splenda for the sugar and use cooking spray instead of oil. I never use the amount of oil she calls for, but I always use frozen cauli, and usually bake it longer. I usually leave it in the oven (uncovered) on time bake for Friday night, but for sure you could put it on the hot plate, just vent it so it doesn't get too soggy.
