It bothers me (yet again) that closeup pictures of close relatives of the dead are shown in the news, websites etc. Like today, the funeral pictures of the murdered Israeli show his family members at the funeral.
Where is the respect for them?
Do they want pictures of themselves wailing at the funeral publicized to the world?
I feel it's a violation of their privacy to publicize these pictures and also feel uncomfortable looking at them. It's not for my eyes to see them in their grief unless I am physically present.

True, true. . .but do you only want to see wailing palestinians mourning over their dead in the news when there are so many unnecessary casualties on the yiddens' side?
These pictures are meant to evoke sympathy amongst the public and I'm very bothered when they only show the "poor" palestinians crying over their "innocent" loved ones.

I guess then, I'm talking from the perspective of someone who is seeing these pictures on Jewish websites, Arutz Sheva for example. Not in the secular press.
I hear your point but tell me, do you see Israel scoring big with these pictures? I haven't noticed ...
