I want to give a friend of mine a kosher cookbook because she doesn't have any, but I don't really want to spend a lot (really any Rolling Eyes embarrassed shock ) money. Is it even possible and if so, which?

Type in Kosher Cookbooks into Amazon.com - the KBD ones are showing at about $23... (Kids in the Kitchen is like $16 and I like it too!)

There are several orgainzations where if you make a donation, they'll send you a cookbook for free. Have you got any extra ma'aser money to use?

For example, if you donate $120 to Masbia (soup kitchen) you can get any KBD book for free.

I also like dining in.

Maybe someone here has a commuity cookbook? I find those are the best when I can find them, real recipes real people make.

A lot of local cookbooks - schools, women's orgs - are really great and are usually cheap.
