Does anyone knows about the Rebbetzin coming to Monsey to remove Ayin hara? (It has been advertised here and there).
Has anyone gone to her or someone else in Monsey?
Any feedback or recommendation would be greatly appreciated.
This is for a family who had 3 grandchildren within a week!
H-E-L-P!

If they had three grandchildren--btw you forgot to say kein ayin hara--then it doesn't sound to me as if they've been hexed by an ayin hara. aderabba, sounds to me like they've been KAH blessed big time. ken yirbu. though I foresee future "problems" if more than one of them is a boy and they're cousins, not siblings, as there will be two or more bar mitzvahs the same week. we should all have such 'problems'.

I get this queasy feeling when I hear about such things. Years ago, when shidduchim didn't go oh-so-perfectly smooth for me, my mother looked into such and other shtusim and it creeped me out when the bearded lady came around holding lit candles aloft in the dark, gloomy house LOL Just kidding. I don't believe any of this is honest, IMO it's just a money-making idea that nobody else has the guts to peddle.

Is this Rebbetzin Aidel Miller who also does laugh therapy? She's supposed to be quite legit.
I assume that the concern is that a family that experiences such simcha is more prone to be victim to ayin hara, so this is to ward off such effects? If it's your mesorah, no reason to go for it. I'm sure she'll tell you that this is just one facet to hishtadlus in this situation, and give you hadracha as to other avenues to pursue.

The ayin hara lady (OP, are you talking about R' Aidel Miller) is not a shtus and not a money making idea. It is completely legitimate and honest with haskamos from gedolim of E"Y. She learned her method from the very well known R' Chava Lutzkin in Meah shearim who has been doing it for decades, and most of the money she (R' Lutzkin) gets goes to tzedakah. Go check out her apartment if you don't believe me.

It may be 'legit' if you believe in that kind of thing... but many people take it way too far, and I know orthodox rabbis who don't go for this kind of thing either...

Can someone please explain to me how believing in ayin hara is not apikorsus? You believe there is a power other then Hashem.

I have heard that ayin hara is sholet on those who believe it.
The idea is, someone can have ill feelings for another, out of jealousy (or in your face ostentation or bragging about one's good fortune) and that can somehow stir things up in the Heavenly court, as in, hey, does this person really deserve the good fortune? And depending on where that person is, and how they're managing it, they may be judged a bit more strictly and may lose out somehow.
I think this is it, in a simplistic nutshell.
Some years ago I heard Rabbi Kessin on lashon hara, who also got into the inner workings of the Heavenly court, and what the harm lashon hara can bring on a person. So maybe it's not all as woo-woo as it sounds...

Rebbetzin Lutzkin doesn't do it anymore, her son does now, I'm told.
Rebbetzin Shmerler still does.

A friend of mine here in Israel believes her daughter has an Ayin Harah put on her. Can anyone please give me a name and phone number of someone who removes Ayin Harahs?

Thank you.

That's meant to be Lutzkin, right? She's not doing it any longer. Her son is. There's also a Mrs. Szmerla, but don't know the phone number.
