We are having a trip with High School students to Washington, DC from NY. I was asked to prepare some games to play with my students on the bus. Any ideas?

Give every girl an envelope and tell them to write their names on it. Photocopy a list of descriptive adjectives (hilarious, outgoing, witty, helpful, ehrlich, dedicated, etc.) to give out. Then, ask the students to place the adjectives in the envelope of the classmate that they think is best characterized by that word. Some adjectives may "fit" the same person. They should also try to think of some on their own. When everyone's done, some girls (or the teacher) reads the adjectives of each envelope and the girls guess which classmate it is describing.

If and Then game is also fun with older girls. They have tons of jokes amongst themselves so they'll crack up when you read the ifs with the thens.

Thanks! I love the adjective idea. I love the blushy happiness each girl gets when hearing compliments on herself! Tongue Out

There's always the "look for letters of the alphabet--or things that start with each letter

Then there's all those license plate games--trying to find one from every state.
Or making sentences with the licenese plate codes--from each letter.
