My 3 year old daughter's nails constantly peel. She drinks a lot of milk. any suggestions why it is happening?

vitamin difficiency

I give her a multi vitamin every day

not al lvitamins are created equall

try a different brand& give it a month or 2

PS does she chew on her nails?

She doesnt bite her nails. she knows not too. It is just happening in the past few weeks that her nails crack easily.

dry air from heat could be 'eating' away the moisture

fungus could be destroying the nails

I'm just guessing here....

I myself had a nail fungus years ago....it started with a little peeling of the nail... and got worse@!

Is she peeling anywhere else like skin on knees. elbows, scalp . Coz someone I know was recently diagnosed with a mild, mild case of psoraisias incl peeling of nails. Check it out if you're worried Wink
