S/one just told me a funny story she had with her child many years ago.
her son was about 8 years old, shabbos in the afternoon, she saw he was sitting down on the couch and kicking off his shoe, then she sees that in his shoe there is a pad... no less.
she asks him, what's that in your shoe, he says he had a ingrown toenail and it was hurting, so he went to his sisters drawer and found this insole that fits perfectly into his shoe, plus it even sticks, and it's comfortable...
