there is a really yummy saucy sesame chicken - stove top recipe. my book is getting old and that page fell out and its lost- I am making supper for a neighbor that had a baby - tommorow- and thats really good.
its the one with mayo, mustard, onion soup mix, honey, apricot jam, mayo, ketchup..... I need the exact recipe. thanks!

Sesame Chicken
2 Chicken cutlets
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup apricot jam
1/3 cup honey
1 capful lemon juice
1 tsp. onion soup mix
1 T. mustard
ΒΌ cup sesame seeds
2 eggs beaten
Bread crumbs or Matzah meal
Oil for frying
Cut the cutlets into bite size pieces, dip into egg and then into bread crumbs and fry in oil. In a saucepan, combine the rest of the ingredients, except for sesame seeds, and cook for 10 minutes. Place fried chicken on the bottom of a 9x13 pan and pour cooked mixture over chicken. Bake covered at 350 got 1 hour Remove from oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds while hot.

btw, when I am short on time, I just take the cutlets and bake them with shake n bake. it is just as good!

I pkg chicken breasts (1-1/2 lbs)
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp soy sauce
bread crumbs
1/2 cup sesame seeds
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
oil, for frying
1 small apricot jam (12 oz)
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic, sauteed
2 tbsp soy sauce
1. cut chicken into nugget-size pieces
2. dip nuggets into flour to coat
3. in a bowl, combine eggs, 2 tbsp water and soy sauce
4.in another bowl, combine bread crumbs, sesame seeds, paprika, garlic powder and salt
5. dip nuggets into egg mixture, then into bread crumb mixture, coating well
6. deep-fry in hot oil for a few minutes
7. saute garlic in oil and add apricot jam, water and 2 tbsp soy sauce. mix until smooth over low flame
8. pour over chicken and serve while hot
b'te'avon!!!!

ok, then thats another recipe for me to try-I once tried the one I posted and LOVED it, just didnt try any other ones.
I thought you wanted this one, because you wrote a stove-top recipe, and I know theyre both made on the stove, but this one is called stove-top sesame chicken

The first recipe in this thread is truly amazing!!! It is so so good, tastes like takeout!!!! My first time making it and it was a real hit! This is the BEST sesame chicken!!! Thanks for posting this recipe.
