I think greeneyes has posted a few recipes from them - try doing a search for the book title.

Here is a Biscotti recipe that I make:

64 calories and 2.8 g. fat each:

3 eggs (or 2 eggs and 2 egg whites)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 c. flour
2 c. special K, Rice Krispies, or Corn flakes
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 to 3/4 c. sliced almonds
1/2 to 3/4 c. choc. sprinkles
2 tsp. cinnamon + 1/3 cup sugar

Beat eggs with sugar and oil. All four, cereal, bkg powder, cinnamon, almonds, and choc. sprinkles. Chill for 15 - 20 minutes. Divide dough into 4 rolls. Leave 3 inches between rolls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Remove and cool. Reduce oven to 250 min. Cut rolls into 1/2 inch slices. Lay cut side up. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake 250 for 45 minutes.

I agree with CM. There's a huge wealth of recipes online - and they're absolutely free.

If you really want a cookbook, I'd suggest checking it out of the library and see if you like the recipes before making a purchase. Or just check out a bunch of cookbooks from the library and write down the recipes you liked.

No, they're both very good. If Healthy Helpings is cheaper, definitely go with that one - it is really fantastic.

I've made LOADS of the recipes and everything has been really good.

Some of my favorites (aside from the links sky posted):

chicken fingers
piquant apricot chicken tid-bites
grilled satay chicken kabobs
honey garlic meatballs
lentil spinach pate
red lentil pate
roasted root vegetables
no fry fries
glazed sweet potatoes
peachy crumb crisp

Half.com is where I was planning on making my purchase. I was just asking what people knew about those particular cookbooks before purchasing.
