Now she screams when making #1 - - - Help!

Toilet training! I started training DD last week Wednesday. First she basically just made accidents for the first two days. Then she got the idea and she’s keeping back from going - #1! She even wakes up dry after a whole night and in the morning she’s asking to sit on potty but she doesn’t make. She jumps around and is very uncomfortable because she has to go but she can sit on potty for long time and nothing doing. When she does make (twice or three times in day) she screams as if she’s in pain. She used to love bathing but now she refuses. I bathe her anyway and she makes #1 as soon as she steps foot in the bath. I took a urine sample and will give it to doctor tomorrow – it looks clear but I’ll make sure. She makes #2 in her panty (not as often as she used to) and doesn’t scream. Anyone ever had this? What else can I do to help her overcome her fear or whatever it is that’s keeping her back?

How old is she? Maybe she's just not ready. I am glad you're taking the urine to the doc, that would make me very nervous....UTI or yeast infection is what came to my mind. Good luck, I'm still working on my 3 1/2 yo ds!

She's 2 years and a month. Went to the doc today and he suggested to go back to pampers. I hope it won't upset her. She really liked the idea of getting trained.
