If you're in Brooklyn, Junee in Boro Park has a big selection for $38-$44. I have a great one from there now.

oh, and no idea what they have now, but kohls.com often has nice skirts and you can usually google a promo code for a discount and free shipping (they allow two).

If you are from Brooklyn, I just bought a denim skirt from Fashion Island for $49 and I know Brenda's carries the same line. I think its Reva or something like that I have 4 of her skirts. I love them all under $50.00.

Try Junees or Elzee they usually have a pretty big selection of short denim skirts.

What is "knee length"? When you sit down, your skirt rides up to your thighs? Is that why you're amother?

Those who know how to dress, know that certain types of knee length skirts are actually longer when you sit, some are the same, and some are shorter. You have no reason to assume the worst. And there's a world between riding up a bit and showing the thighs!

I had no idea that some knee-length skirts are longer when you sit. How do you know when it's that type?

You need to try and see. But often they will be the flowy or bell shaped type.

interesting, to me knee-length signifies mid-calf meaning it covers my knees. didn't even think about it.

Honestly, knee length in shops can be anything from reaching the knee barely to covering the knee fully. Mid calf is much lower than just down the knee!

I guess knee-length means from below the knee to mid-calf to me because otherwise I personally would say long, meaning ankle-lenth.

I hope that makes sense, even if it isn't correct commonly lol.

lol!

Anyway this shows us we need to try the skirt, or at the least ask for its length before buying, and not trust the "whatever length" label.
