He refuses to make a bowel movement!

My3 year old son is totally toilet trained for number one, even thru the night. But he refuses to make dirty on the toilet. He is so stubborn! He was beginning to get very constipated, so someone suggested for him to wear a diaper just to make a dirty. He wore the diaper for 3 hours (when I knew he really had to make!) and did not do anything!! I started giving him over the counter constipation medication ( which he screams about!), and all he does is make little deposits of dirty in his undies all day. Im running out of underwear, and its getting gross and out of hand!! I feel like its becoming a power struggle! what to do??????? Mad

I know how you feel, Im having the same issue with my daughter. Exploding anger

Someone recommeneded for me to buy a potty, apparently they get freaked out that there number 2 is going down the toilet shock

I havent tried yet, but im going to get one this week and hope it works. good luck hun xx
