yes!
I had a pair of shoes that were flats and in beautiful condition on the outside bu the inside but cutting into my feet (you could see a grid like/criss cross protruding under the very thin layer of leather on top of the sole.
Anyway, I bought the gel inserts and it is like having a new pair of shoes inside.
I don't know about high heels but say that it is definitely worth a try.
Good luck:)

I used them in a pair of heels that kept slipping off- they worked wonderfully- I really liked them. I just made sure to take them out of the shoes every now and then so they didn't stick to the soles and ruin them.

dd2 bought a pair with arches for heels ... she's got tiny feet so she needed s/t to take up a little room in her 5 ... works like a charm and she says they're great

Even smaller pharmacies will have them.
