Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here ever bought a sheitel or a fall from Yaffa's Wigs outlets? I saw online a band fall and I know my color (I hope) and the price isn't so bad so I was thinking of ordering it but would it be a mistake and would it be a few hundred dollars down the drain?

When I first started wearing a sheitel I bought one from there. I was too intimidated to go to the sheitelmacher's and found her prices to be very high, but the money I spent was "gamble-able"

I started with a non-mono wig, ie without the scalp piece. It is still wearable and in decent condition though a little dry after 3-4 weeks, it's in need of a wash in northeast weather. At the time I spent 150. I felt good about it. I spent another $40 to have it cut. I didn't have anything else done, no color, etc. It's ok, but since the part is not there, now these glue boogers appear if she combs it in a different style part. It's my "everyday and working from home" sheitel.

I then went up in price to a $500 Jaqueline from the sheitelmacher- something that was a display, not damaged, just wanted to change out. Normally $650 by her. It was nicer than what I bought from Yaffa but then again, I spent more money. I can't find something comparable to what I bought. But it is heavier, and the style is longer. It's my Shabbos and work sheitel.

Now I am considering whether I need to go up in price again- looking for a change, perhaps something "nicer." But I feel like if I am going to spend more than $500, I need to see it in person, so probably going to my (new) sheitelmacher.
