I ordered something online in bulk, they sent me the wrong size. They gladly refunded me & said I could keep it (!!), I was thinking of selling it on ebay but I just realized on each individual package it says "Not for retail sale" does that mean in a store only?
Please excuse my ignorance. I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

It must have been a sample, or to be included with other things.

I was under the impression that "not for retail sale" meant in a store.
Can you contact the seller or the manufacturer and explain your situation?

(1) It could mean that it was packaged for use as a component, or for use in industry, and accordingly does not have the appropriate consumer labeling.
(2) It could simply mean that the entire item was intended for retail sale, but not intended to be broken up and sold individually. Eg, I buy Smart Balance margarine, which comes as two tubs together in a cardboard sleeve. Each tub says that its not intended for individual retail sale, because it doesn't have nutrition information. The entire sleeve, with both tubs, IS intended for retail sale.
HTH.

I dont think its wrong to sell an item like this on ebay nobody will ever follow you on ebay, worst case if the buyer is complaining about it then you will refund them the money, and its hard to believe that somebody should complain because of that.

The OP is trying to do the RIGHT thing. Not something that no one will catch her doing

Any clue where can I find out if its lawful to sell it?
I'd love to get it out of my way. Raizybp, I wouldn't take the risk, its not a matter of the buyer "complaining"...I'm not looking to botch up my name on ebay (I'm not a top seller YET )

It means, as the poster said above, that you can not sell the individual parts separately. But you can sell the entire thing as a whole.
