I started a size 6 and will probably be at leasat a size 12/14. What's the best Girdle out there???? HELLLLLLLLLLP!!

I have a great one from Lebon, don't remember the company but its model number 571.
Maybe saposh or your top priority would do a better job with fitting.

spanx is the best- get one that goes over your belly and is like shorts for your thighs. they are excellent and very comfortable. bloomingdales.

Just a word of warning- I was healing great, and then at the bris, I wore a very light girdle and it messed up something and I was in agony for the next week, and my healing started over again. For me it was not worth it and I won't do it again. I don't know if this ever happened to anyone else - but it gave me a lot of problems.

they won't compare you to size six you, they'll compare you to pregnant you. don't create extra pain for yourself. you don't even have to go to the bris if you don't to. it's not like it's a fun event. I would like to mention that I was a size 14 post partum and no one believed me on that. it's all in your proportions. buy yourself a flattering outfit if you don't want to wear maternity, but no one expects you to be a size 6 eight days after delivering a baby.

Best girdles ever are made by Custom Made. They have two styles. Look for them at a Heimish underware store. (Le Bon, Saposh.)
Listen to sky's warning. (I didn't know this when I was postpartum ) If you do wear the girdle to the Bris, after that make sure to stuff deep into your drawer until you have healed completely.

I've also heard girdles interfere with your healing.
NOBODY, not even your relatives expects you to look like a size 6 so soon. And if you do, they will only hate you!
Just wear a flattering style.

Maybe try something not very constricting like a panty girdle.

I've been to a few brisim where the mother has squished her post partum body into clothes that are waaay too small, thinking she'll look thinner, but ends up looking awful. She'd look so much better wearing something that fits - noone expects you to be your pre pregnancy size a week after birth and with your sheitel done nicely and pretty makeup, noone's looking to see how flat your stomach is and you can enjoy yourself in comfort.
