For the past several months my almost 7 month old has been have nightmares. She'll all of a sudden scream and shriek like nothing else. I go in and pick her up, but she's fast asleep. It used to be enough to just pick her up and ssshhh her, but now it's getting harder to calm her. Sometimes I even wake her up and then try to calm her, but she seams very scarred when this happens. Is anyone else dealing with this? What should I do?

Check with your pediatrician if they have any ideas.

B"H
This sounds like night terrors, not nightmares. They sound similar but they're very different. I have it with three year old, and I'm in the process of finding a naturopath who may be able to help out.
I'll let you know what I come up with.
Based on the research I've done on night terrors, they're most common between ages 2-5, and they won't last forever.
