I'm curious how many sheitels you own?
For example:
1 full for shabbos, 1 hatfall for weekends, and one headband for weekdays
I'm debating how mnay I really need.
Thanks!

I have one full for Shabbos, and a band fall for weekdays. ( I also have an old fall that I've saved for hats, but never really use)

I own 3:
1 full that I wear half the time as a pony
1 full just to interchange with my other one to extend their lifespan
1 band fall which is 6 years old and I'm considering replacing this coming year.
I would own many more if I had the money!

Two shaitels
(one I only wear for Shabbos/special occassions) the other is mostly for weekday but I'll sometimes wear it on Shabbos cuz it's a littler shorter and sometimes more comfortable..
I would love to get another one - but it's not the time right now

If you don't mind me asking, why do you have a specific sheitle for gyno checkups?

Hi there was waiting for someone to pipe up on that
I don't wear tichels or plain hats out of the house I always wear a shaitel even at home a preference to a tichel. Now My Gyno and house sheital are more practical then the longer ones,

Oh right, should have figured that out on my own. I also only wear a sheitle outside my house but just wear my regular one to the gyno.
now when you say you prefer a sheitle even at home is that a matter of tznius or comfort?
just curious.
comfort I can't imagine and tznius is it an inyan in one's own home?

Raizle I am not that Holy yet
1. I have quite a low hairline so a tichel hat does not fully cover even if my hair was short I have tried long and short it doesn't work. Now I have people constantly coming to my home so for me it's adilemma.
2.The shaital I have I am used to it's comfortable and yes I do look more presentable and look like the lady of the house with it on rather then the Nanny no offense to anyone on here. Its a personal preferance.

One, and under protest. It was required at work. I've since changed positions within the company and wear it, at most, once a week (still not on Shabbat).

1 band Fall
2 Full (a 9 yo-old one that is still OK and a brand new one)
1 adorable shorty synthetic that is so cute I'm wearing it more and more
The second I come home the sheitel comes off and tichels go on. I am much more comfortable that way.

1. longer one that needs rehab but would be a shabbos/yt sheitel once it gets it
2. one slightly shorter one that I wear to work (and currently all the time bc the other needs rehab). I only wear this one to work. If I were to switch it would be a long term switch to a different sheitel. For hashkofic (the Rebbe preferred ladies to wear sheitlach), halachic ( personally, I find it covers my hair much better than a hat/snood), and professional reasons (a hat/snood would look way too casual at my workplace).

2, one of which is dead. I'm in desperate need of a new one. Maybe now that Tishrei is over I can start to search properly...

I own 3 "good" sheitels, one being top quality and the other excellent. Problem, I only wear my fav (the newest, top quality) unless it's at the sheitel lady then I wear the "excellent" one... lol
