I was told that I need three reference letters for a Teaching job ASAP. WHen I said I can't get them so fast they told me to type them up myself and have three people sign it. It's really hard to write a letter that won't sound like I'm bragging but I need to sound good. Anyone have suggestions? I work with pre-school age kids I'm very warm....

Do you need this before yom tov?
I would love to help, but you can't be shy. Pick 9 words that describe your qualities (warn is one) and concrete examples or ancdotes for at least three. Then give me bare bones experience (I.e. In her x number of years teaching preschool, x has taught x number of students. Or x taught four year olds for six years but recently started teaching three year olds - whatever, you want to flesh the letters out some). If you have people who can sign it, tell me their relationship - parent of former student, former principal or camp director, colleague and we'll frame it that way (can't exactly write "never heard of her, anonymous recommendation for amother!)
If you insist on being modest, pm me.

Just reread your post - it can be for yourself with three signatures? Okay - your hw just got easier - 4 despcriptive words and one anecdote - and we can try to be suitably modest while extolling your virtues!
