I am cutting-and-pasting this recipe here, I have made it before and it is YUM, perfect for rosh hashana,!! kudos to chocolate moose for always posting great recipes!!
Honey (or maple) baked chicken with apples
from the Kraft food magazine, with my changes
chicken pieces, any kind
1/ med onion, sliced
2 apples, any kind, sliced
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/3 cup Italian dressing or mixture of oil and herbs and lemon
(sweet potatoes, optional)
In large baking dish, arrange your chicken pieces. Place onion on top of chicken, and apple slices around your chicken pieces. (add your sweet potatoes, if using). Mix syrup and dressing and pour over chicken.
Bake until done.

Sounds good. Covered or uncovered, what temp, and approximately how long to cook? Thanks!

I'm thinking about making this (I really don't need it - for some reason I may still make it though...).
I found the original recipe. This one sounds much easier though. http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/r......aspx
