I gave birth several weeks ago. I would love to express my appreciation to my ob by sending him a meaningful gift & note. Does anyone have any ideas of something that would be appropriate for this time of year - rosh hashana, yomkippur, sukkos (ob is frum).
Also, my l&d nurse was exceptionally warm & helpful-can I just step by the hospital with something-What??

The best thing you can do for the ob is recommend her to other people. The best thing you can do for the nurse is write a letter or praise about her to her immediate supervisor and department head.
That being said, a picture of your baby is a pretty standard thing to send an OB.

I just saw my ob at my six week visit and brought him a fancy bottle of honey and wrote him a nice card.
