Anybody have any ideas for a gift? every year I break my head this year I want to keep it whole so pls help me....

this year we're upgrading to a canvas sukkah, from a pop up sukkah...that's my present. Smile

do u have an idea of price range?
something major or just something.
last yr I got my husband an interlinear machzor.
does a tie or nice shirt count? cufflinks?
challah board, honey dish...?
a cozy pair of pjs and coupon for x many shabbos after noons this yr, or over yom tov?
does it hafta be something for yt specifically?

I have no price range but I definately dont want to spend too much...
he has all the things you listed... it does not have to do with yt... got any other ideas?

Does it have to be a "thing" you buy?

A nice bottle of scotch?

or maybe a special dish you prepare--maybe it has $pecial ingredients so it's a real "treat"?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the best gift is to do something for him that he can't or won't or wouldn't think to do himself. Get his favorite electronic toy repaired, make a special dish that he loves that you make very seldom, have his silver atarah polished, his favorite sefer re-bound, his tallis dry cleaned and/or the strings replaced, his diploma or teudah framed, his baseball card collection catalogued or put in an acid-free storage box instead of that old shoebox (careful with this, he may be very attached to that old shoebox), put all his loose old photos in an album, buy a new address book and list current contact info for all his friends and relatives.

im a huge fan of the coupon thing for giving gifts on a budget.
1 yr when we were really feeling broke I bought a book of flash cards that were perforated and made them into coupons for stuff.

its exciting to receive and then exciting every time we use it. like the time I was getting all worked up bout his socks being all over the place and he just handed me a sorry im a slob card and we both really laughed and I got over it without an argument.

I really wanted to get him a wii - cuz I want the wii fit.
I just got dh a martini shaker, vodka, and rum cuz hes been raving bout a drink he got somewhere.

gift certificate for a spa? if hes the sort. dh would never go for that
