I never liked meatloaf until I tried this recipe. It's delishes, and does not need any additional glaze or sauce.

Barbeque Meatloaf
Quick & Kosher

2 lbs. ground meat
1 egg
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup barbeque sauce
2 Tbsp onion powder
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp parsley flakes

Preheat oven to 350.
Combine all ingredients. Press meat mixture into a 2 lb. loaf pan.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.

Lol! It has 1 egg in it. I make this recipe all the time.
(See the thread about egg substitutes to see how I made this recipe without eggs tonight!)

ra_mom - I made this tonight with a copule of small changes.
I used one pound ground meat, one pound ground chicken. Besides for the BBQ sauce I also put in a squirt of ketchup and one of mustard. I didn't use parsley flakes.

I made it in a 9 x 13 with mashed potatoes on top. (mashed potatoes had salt and egg mixed in to make it more creamy).

It came out DELISH!!! That bbq flavor really made it!!!

thanks for a great recipe!

Being that bbq sauce was on sale, in different varieties, I bought enough to last forever, maybe longer.

I should try this !

I use extra lean ground beef.
But you can use whichever ground meat you usually like.

I have the book and made this recipe a couple of times. It was very good but I was wondering if anyone cut down on the garlic and onion powder - I thought it was very strong flavor.

I made it so long ago that I don't remember for sure, but I'm pretty certain I baked it covered and perhaps uncovered it for the last 15 mins or so.
