Sara G. I just clipped out the reciepe from Shmais with the hearts of palm!! How did it turn out?? Let me know please, cause I'd like to make it for during the week. We are huge salad eaters.
I would omit the ovocados- and probably try half with mayo and half without.

I used grapes instead of avocadao, but the Season brand Heart of Palm wasn't that soft (DD said it should be) and it was just a fair salad. Nothing special; and being that the h.of p. was 1.69, not to be repeated!

I made a nontraditional meal for us, as I'm trying to finish everything we have in the house before pesach.
sesame style chicken
sweet potatoes
brown rice
store bought dips
on shabbos day, we just eat salads unless we're having guests.
