2 of my kids got violent with each other this evening as I looked on (although I couldn't determine who actually started).
Result: One broken pinkie finger.

Look, let me tell you something. When my sister was annoying the heck out of me, I grabbed her foot and wouldn’t let go. Later, when I did let go, she flew into the corner of the wall, split her head open. When my parents brought her home after being stitched up, they made this whole to do, a whole show, they made sure her head was wrapped around completely all around with gauze… she looked like a walking ghost. Probably got like 7 stitches. Point is, everyone remembers that it was ME who caused HER to get a hole in the head… when essentially, it was she who had a history of kicking people until they wanted to make minced meat from her. Moral of the story… your kids feel sorry as hell. Let it go and say nothing. They will apologize to each other. Do NOT point fingers or ask questions. Please. My story goes back about 25 years yet I feel the rawness of it right now.

OP here.
Thanks, Shaklee for sharing your experience. I didn't point fingers. I do keep mentioning that if the kids continue to fight someone will wind up in the ER again. Interestingly enough, my dd is being very non combative today.
