So we were eating dinner and DS needed a time out-no big deal. Sent him to his room. He comes back a minute later-his light wont turn on. We go to investigate and when we unscrew the globe, the bulb falls out and crashes all over his carpet, mixed in with his tiny lego pieces, broken glass all over And of course we cannot see, since the bulb is broken. SO DH runs to walmart to get a new bulb, since we dont have the right type in the house.
Now DD wants to nurse, so I dont go back to the table. Cat jumps on table and eats the rest of my supper. DH makes me a sandwhich, then runs out to the store. I have DS and DD is my bed (since DS cant go into his room until all the glass is gone) and DD starts crying for no reason and wont stop. Then DS (5 y.o.) tells me that he wet through his nighttime pull up (that he had just put on 1/2 hour earlier). My bed is wet, as is he. Now I have to start laundry with 15 minutes until tisha b'av starts. Get DS in bed after room is cleaned and DD quieted and in bed. Fast is starting, and I am tense. Am cleaning out DS's camp bag and find mushed plum all over the inside of the bag and on his change of clothes....but washer is already started. Now I am doing laundry by hand, and tisha b'av is already started.

I am not going to have the emotional strength to make it through.

Dh has to work. He took off 1 week after DD was born, then last friday, and he has to take off at least 2 days next week for his grandmothers unveiling

Alas, no :-( The cats think the table is their own little buffet and usually we cannot leave them alone when food is out.
