WE have a family wedding next week in Montreal and we live in Toronto. I really want to go as it will be very nice. However I have a new baby who will only be 1 month then and I am not sure if she will travel well. SHe is not a sleeper..she is very alert? would you travel 5 hours (willl be longer )with a new baby and 3 kids???

it depends how YOU feel! If u feel good, then its a good idea to go cuz ure baby will sleep most of time anyways... just make sure not to bring her too close to the loud music.

go for it . it is a straight road in. and it is only five hrs. also make sure you or hubby is not so tired to drive. bc the road is so straight u might fall asleep if driving at night. also a newborn is the easyest person to take care of . the older kids are the harder ones.

We had a wedding 4 hrs away when mine was 7 weeks. The big mistake- He fell asleep at the wedding,I had nursed him about 2 hr earlier. Instead of feeding him again,I said lets try to make it home.Sure enough about 1/2 hr before home he was screaming.
I'd go,but I'm nuts & schlep mine everywhere. But I would say try to go about 8 or 9 pm so bigger kids will sleep & you will still get a nights sleep. And remember to add in time for feeding & changing baby.Maybe the bigger ones will sleep through a stop.
Mazel tov & enjoy

I traveled with my first baby when she was 5 weeks old to my brother's wedding in Israel. It was hard, but I wouldn't give that up for anything!
