For anyone who writes or has written for some of the Jewish mags, what is the best way to "beak in?" What is the best way to pitch an articles when these people have no idea who you are?

e-mail the publication a neatly-typed article with no grammatical or spelling errors, together with a nice letter saying who you are and why you think this article is good for that publication.
Tell them you'll be in touch in a week or two to hear what they think.

Do you have something ready?

I have a few things, I was published once so far in a widely read publication, and rejected by another Sad I do have experience writing web content and other things, but I would like to break in to the Jewish article world, So I am wondering if there is a way to "get in," or if they will actually take something from me if they like it.

If they like it and think it's appropriate for their audience, they'll take it.
Horizons pays for one-time use of the article, the other publications generally pay for it and then own it.
Did the rejection tell you why they didn't want it?
Send your stuff in, and hatzlacha!

They didn't tell me why. I have always been told, in every capacity that I've written, that my writing is phenominal, so it's a blow. I need chizuk to keep trying!

I just saw this, so here's chizuk:
KEEP WRITING!
There is a need for good writers.
If you get a rejection, politely explain that you're looking for tips and pointers and you'd really appreciate if they could tell you what was wrong so you won't make the same mistake next time.

Hatzlacha!
