does anyone have an idea of a gift to give to a very affluent and wealthy couple who are getting married under a chuppah and receiving a kosher ketubah?
(they did not get married in a kosher way and although they have two kids and have recently become frum, they want to remarry properly)
PS- amother because I dont want my sister to kno my identity please don't bash me

I dont have a wedding present idea, just that this reminded me of my father employee who refused to marry under a chupa because he was a cohen, so it would be problematic to marry his wife.

Did they give out wedding invitations? If they did take one and frame it Put the front on one side and the inside on the other and in the middle put a pic of both of them.

If they're newly frum, there might be things that they'd really appreciate which they don't have yet - like fancy "al netilas yadayim" towels...

A mezuzah, especially a really nice ksav. You could also get them a nice set of sefarim, like the set of Gutnik humashim.

Someone took our invatation and had it set on a lovely havdallah candle. We also recived a set of tapes on shalom bayit. Both of these gifts really touched us.

I like the mezuzah idea. Also depending on your budget ttheir are nice pieces of mahogony and silver.

You could give tzedakah in honor of this event.
Dh and I do this when there are people getting married a second time. Organizations will send the happy couple a card telling them what you did.
If the couple is very wealthy, they probably don't need anything.

Something pretty for the Shabbos table is nice too...
an extra silver becher always comes in handy...
or one of those wood/silver bentcher boxes....
a challah board,if they dont have one...
a beautiful challah knife...
I also love those plaques you get in Jerusalem with your family name on it, that u hang on your front door....I dont know of any place in Chu'l that sells them though.
I think anything you decide on will be appreciated.

I think that's such a great way to mark an occasion! My favorite suggestion.
