cleans out ur pores of blackhead, whiteheads and any other debris or oil that is on the surface of the skin/face/back

dont know if its a shaila or not......and it can hurt during the extraction process!!!! but its worth it - u come out shiney and pretty!!

dont be surprised if u have a small breakout a few days after the facial - DONT touch those pimples....theyl go away on their own - if u hate the sight of them make ur face warm and GENTLY squeeze using ur fingertips NOT nails

ENJOY!!!!!!

Facials are awesome! I would get one every month if I could afford it. It's a great pampering experience aside from the few minutes of pain from the extractions. It's so worth it because you're skin will look amazing afterwords.

Where do you get your facials?
I want to do one, but don't know who does it well.
I live in Boro Park, Brooklyn, but am willing to go else-where.

TIA

Thanks Red Twizzler,

I would like to have their address and phone #, if it's not too much trouble.

Do you usually request for someone in particular, to treat you? if yes, whom would you recommend I request?

I don't know anyone in Brooklyn who does facials well, however, I saw a thread somewhere here, quite recently, with some good recommendations in the Boro Park area, and for the life of me I cannot find it.

Thanks Yikes, and thanks for the link.

I checked out their products, and am wondering about the quality of their moisturizers, eye creams, and etc..
Their prices are quite reasonable, compared to some name brands.

Betty & Louise are very good. Their products are great. They give you a skin consultation and recommend products for your skin. I use many of them and I'm very happy with them.

I used to go to a Russian woman in Sheepshead Bay - Avenue Y or Z or thereabouts and E. 14. I liked her better than Mario Badescu, it was more convenient and I liked her products more also. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name anymore. Does anyone know whom I'm talking about?

I went to Mario Badescu and thought that the focus was more on the cleansing and blackhead clearing that relaxation...and I walked out there looking very beat up! Took a few days for the swelling to go down....

I personally prefer Aveda facials for more relaxation. I know that many facials also include a should/arm massage....
